Janet Lawson GG

Janet began guiding as a white water canoeist and cave specialist in southern Missouri.  Graduated high school as assistant climbing guide for Alpine Adventures in Yosemite National Park.  Janet learned to row a raft on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and became a river guide for Parklands River Expeditions in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Assisting Jackson Hole Mountain Guides, Janet had the opportunity to be first woman, second ascent on various climbs throughout the Western United States.

Janet graduated from Bishnu Gosh Yoga College of India in 2001. She has built three traditional hot yoga studios: one in Jackson, Wyoming, Kilauea Kauai and Haines Alaska.  Janet is completing her research on the dances, petroglyphs, tattoos and wooden carvings of the early navigators of the Pacific Ocean. Janet is a PADI certified diver.  First person to circumnavigate the island of Kauai in a self contained kayak.

Janet is a G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist & Gosh Yoga Instructor in Alaska, Hawaii & Wyoming.
